Block settings allow you to set padding, borders, and background images for specific blocks in your course.
NOTE: If you want to style your entire course instead of individual blocks, consider using our Themes.
1. Open a course and select a lesson.
2. Inside the lesson, select the block you wish to edit.
3. Click the Settings icon. You will see the settings for that block.
4. Next click the Block drop down list. The Settings panel expands:
5. Adjust your block settings:
Padding-Top: The amount of white space at the top of the block.
Padding-Bottom: The amount of white space at the bottom of the block.
Click on a box next to the word Fill to select a color for the background of the block.
Choose a border color and border thickness for the background fill in.
You can add an image as a background image to your block.
NOTE: Hover the cursor in the area above the Background Image box to display the Trash can icon and Arrows icon. Click the Trash can icon to delete an existing background image, or click the Arrows icon to replace the current image with another image.
You can choose to layer another color over the background image: Choose a color and then select its Opacity. 100% opacity will cover the image completely with your new layer. Reduce the percentage to reveal your image.
Click the Element drop down list. The Settings panel expands:
Depending on the element type, you can view information about it. In this example, a text element shows the number of words and characters in the block.
