Course Comments provides a view of all Comments logged within a course in one central location. From Course Comments you can view, filter, sort, search, and manage your comments.

Accessing Course Comments
You can access the Course Comment log for a course in two locations.
1. From the Course Dashboard. Locate your course tile. Select the Options menu (three dots) and select the icon for Comments.
2. From within a course in editing mode: Access the comments menu from any block. Click on the Options menu (three dots) and select Course Comments.
Working with Course Comments
- You can perform all of these same actions on comments from within the course blocks.
- Depending on your role and permissions, some of these actions may be limited.
To see the comment in context within the course, you can open the page, or the specific block the comment is attached to.
PRO-TIP: Right-click your mouse and open the lesson, activity, assessment, or block in a new tab or window. This will enable you to keep the Course Comments log open in one tab and see the comment in context in the other tab.

Filtering, Searching, and Sorting
Filter the Course Comments using the pull-down menu next to the course title. Show all comments, unread comments, your @ mentions, your comments, or resolved comments.
Search the comments log via the Search button in the upper right.
This will open the Comments search bar. You can search for comments and replies here.
You can then sort the search results by relevance, most recent, or oldest comments.
You have several additional options to filter the search results.
Filter by All or Resolved comments.
Filter by team member.
Filter by date range.
