You can embed Knowbly™ content in Google Sites
You can embed a Knowbly widget directly onto a Google Sites page.
- In Knowbly, choose a widget you’d like to publish from the Content Manager. Hit the 3 dot option menu in the upper right of the widget tile, and choose the publish arrow.
- The publishing window will open. Select the Embed tab at the top. Then either select the portion of the embed code containing only the URL pointed to by the src tag, or the complete embed code fragment. For example, if the embed code is the following:
<iframe width="840" height="730" src="https://embed.knowblyapp.com/embed/accordion/5b6c99206060160007af4494" ></iframe>
You can copy just the portion with the URL, which from the above example would be:
Or you can copy the entire code fragment with the <iframe> included.
Within Google Sites, use the Embed button to add the code you copied to your Google Sites page.
From the dialog that appears, select to either embed by URL (if only the URL was copied earlier in step 2) or embed by Embed Code if the entire iframe was copied in step 2, and then click on the Insert button to insert the widget. By URL will display a link, the Embed code will display a window into the widget directly on the page.
Link to Course by URL
Any Web Standard course can be hosted on a server as html (see Web Standard Publishing article). The course can then be linked to “By URL” using embed as shown under step 4 of Embed Widget above.
